In Between

This piece was performed as part of the “Great Exhibitionists” festival at the Royal College of Music, London, in April 2024.
The project was created in collaboration with my father, video artist Doron Solomons.
The video features the faces of my parents, as well as melting ice — disappearing, yet never truly gone.
The performers follow the visual changes in the video in real time — a blink of an eye, the fall of a a drop of water — to know when and how to move to the next section.
In this way, the video itself acts as the conductor of the piece.
