ORDER!

Order is a piece for music and dance, created with the support of the Tel Aviv Municipality and performed in Israel. The music was composed using an algorithmic process: while the initial placement of sounds was manually chosen, they gradually became fully randomized and were performed by a computer using various instruments. The result is a distorted, chaotic dance—unpredictable, yet structured.

The work is rooted in chaos theory. In mathematics, chaos theory explores the presence of underlying patterns and structures within systems that appear to be random. It suggests that pure chaos does not truly exist—there is always some form of order to be found.

In developing the choreography, we explored how this idea manifests within the human psyche, particularly in relation to anxiety, anticipation, and the perception of time.
