This is not working 

This is not working is an orchestral composition built around two simple melodic ideas derived from the spoken Hebrew phrase “זה לא עובד” (“this is not working”)- a sentence that holds personal meaning for me. I often find language to be a direct and expressive source for melody, and I’m drawn to the way everyday situations can shape musical structures and timing.
